Let’s Party!

Think of the weekend as a choose-your-own-adventure nature retreat. We will have an itinerary to guide the group, but you’re also welcome to choose your pace and place. If you want to partake in the polar plunges, but skip the sauna sessions - do you!

FRIDAY

The Vibe: Casual. We’re settling in, we’re sayin’ hi, we’re unwinding from a week of work. There’s background music, self-pour bevvies, a campfire cracklin’, and new people to chat with. Oh and PIZZA! V + GF + DF peeps, don’t worry, we have options.

Ferry over to Guemes Here’s the schedule - car space on the ferry is limited, so get in line early.

4 PM - Check-in Find your cabin and settle in with the bunkmates. Feel free to roam around and explore the grounds, go for a little paddle perhaps?

7 PM - Welcome Dinner Enjoy Gusto Wood Fired Pizza and self-serve beverages including beer, wine, and N/A options. This is a relaxed dinner where you can roam and chat while chowing down.

8 PM - Welcome Toast Raise your glass to each other and the weekend, wooooo!

 Activities FAQs

  • High!

This will be a weekend full of carefree casual fun. Don’t worry about typical wedding etiquette. Channel adult summer camp vibes where everyone is your best bud even those you haven’t met yet. Be loosey-goosey, be vulnerable, be welcoming and helpful, lean into your funky side, and have some fun with it.

  • Semi-formal. We want everyone to look and feel their best while also being comfortable.

There may be sun and cool breezes. We’ll pretend there’s no chance of rain. You will find yourself walking on uneven surfaces like a grass lawn, gravel, and mulch walkways, and if you’d like, some maintained trails through the property and rocky beaches. Your cabins will be nearby; outfit changes are encouraged!

If you’re from the east coast, know that we keep it more casual out here!

  • Kids, heck yes!

    Pets, heck no!

  • Lots!

Hiking, biking, boating, beachcombing, and swimming.

You can enjoy the resort sauna, game room, and provided rowboats, paddleboards, and kayaks. If you like to bike, bring yours!

We’ll also have lawn games, comfy chairs for curling up with a book, and if you want to lend a hand there will be some (fun) chores to complete!

  • Great question! We are compiling a packing list right here.

If you have specific questions or needs, please email or text us!

  • Unless you’re local and only planning on attending the Saturday ceremony and reception or other daytime activities, it is preferred that you arrive on Friday. Arriving on Friday allows us to check everyone in, welcome everyone with a meal, and ensure everyone knows where to find whatever they may need. As your hosts, we will be more relaxed throughout the weekend knowing that important task is complete.

More importantly, arriving on Friday offers you the chance to experience the weekend as it was thoughtfully designed for you. Friday gives you time to meet new friends and make stronger connections. You’ll also be more likely to find a brave bud to polar plunge with on Saturday morning!

  • Unless you’re a local that is coming only for daytime activities or the Saturday ceremony and reception, it is preferred that you stay until Monday. We will be preoccupied on Sunday as we paddle, bike, lounge, and laugh and won’t be able to offer you a proper goodbye if you leave on Sunday.

  • NEVER!! We can’t stress this enough - if you aren’t able to come, we love you regardless and ask that you plan to visit us in Bellingham sometime soon! We would love to host you whenever the time is right for your visit.

We are also planning a small celebration in Pennsylvania during fall 2024 and you are welcome to join us then if you’d like!
