Weekend Sleepaway Camp
Guemes Island Resort is ours from Friday to Monday. The resort is a mix of houses, cabins, and yurts, and sleeps roughly 100 people.
Please send in your RSVP ASAP so we can assign beds thoughtfully. We will then send you your cabin, house, or yurt placement and request payment.
The sleeping arrangements are akin to a highly customized seating chart. We will consider the accessibility and comfort needs of each guest, plus who they know so that we can bunk people accordingly.
We have also reserved a few off-site AirBnBs for families and individual couples who may appreciate some additional privacy. If you are local and prefer sleeping at home, feel free!
check-in at 4PM on Friday & check-out at 11AM on Monday

-
Yes! The resort and cabins have wifi.
-
It depends. We have created a draft sleeping chart based on early RSVPs, but we cannot confirm your sleeping bunk until everyone returns their RSVP.
-
Probably not. Most guests are sleeping with their immediate family or besties.
There’s a chance you may be bunking with someone you don’t know, but in those cases, we’ve made an intentional match and you’re probably leaving the wedding weekend with a new pen pal.
-
RSVP! Sending in your RSVP is the first step to confirming your cabin. We are placing people as we receive RSVPs and creating intentional assignments as we receive additional confirmations. As we begin to fill houses, cabins, and yurts, you will receive a confirmation email and request for payment.
-
Accommodation varies as some guests will sleep in a yurt with a detached bathroom, while others will be in a cabin or house. Total cost of accommodation per person for the weekend will be about $350.
-
It’s amazing!! The exact details of accommodation varies depending on which cabin, house, or yurt you’re staying in, but it’s all pretty sweet! You can find more details here: Guemes Island Resort.
Houses and cabins have full kitchens and bathrooms. The yurts have a nice outdoor pavilion kitchen space and a detached bathhouse.
-
Most people are, but we likely have more guests than beds. We have also reserved some AirBnBs on the island to ensure all guests are nearby. Guests with cars (and maybe ones who hit the hay early) will be housed at the AirBnbs, all of which are a short 10-15 minute drive away.
-
You can certainly try! There isn’t much to choose from, so if you’re wanting to go this route, send us a text and we can chat through your needs and what may work best for you.

There are several mooring buoys available at the resort, if you’d like to sail or motor to the wedding weekend. We also have options for van dwellers.
